Hey all, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section but I will try anyway
I'm working on a 30pin connector (Female) to AUX and micro USB (Male) to use between a iPhone/iPod audio dock from Phillips and a Samsung Galaxy S2. My problem is that i know the cable has been wired up correctly using the pinout of the 30pin connector and the USB and AUX cables. But for some reason it does not work.
If I use the opposite cable to make it back to a USB and AUX cable again I have been able to test that it is wired correctly since is then can successfully be used as a AUX (Male to male) cable.
My question is now, does the docks have some kind of handshaking with the device or some kind of indication to make it accept audio from the dock connecter on the audio dock?
Regards
