Carrying a question from another thread over to here. I've been reading that 32-bit apps are verboten in some sense after High Sierra. Now what I read seems to indicate that 32-bit apps will still run, but there will be 'considerations' of some sort. All I can find is info on the Apple developer site that 32-bit apps take on a performance hit the first time a 32-bit app is loaded into memory, some things that have to be 64-bit (kexts, for example), and that's mostly it. Anyone know what the situation will be in fact? Will 32-bit apps, specifically 3rd-party 32-bit apps, not run on macOS post-HS, or will there just be some limitations?
