So I guess in Snow Leopard the System Preferences is a 64-bit app and on some pref panes you try to open you get a dialog that says something like:
"To use 'xxxxx" System prefs must quit and reopen".

That's fine, but is there any way to just get rid of this dialog altogether? Or at least get an immediate "Ok"? Cause I don't care if it needs to reopen, it takes a millisecond to do, but it's a little annoying and I'm just curious if anyone could come up with a terminal command or something?

Anyone?

Get Info on /Applications/System Preferences.app

Check the "Open in 32-bit mode" option.
