What I wan't to know is will it link with my infiniti G35 Bluetooth car interface. I would really hate to go back to that stupid earpiece....

Could people list their car make and model and report their sych success. I'm sure this would be a big help for everyone.

Infiniti 2007 g35 works

iPhone is working perfectly with my g35 infiniti. Sounds much better then my Treo 700p (which was awfully finicky with its bluetooth connection)

2006 BMW 7-Series - Flawless

My Palm 700p didn't work the whole time I owned it (showed the previous caller and not the current caller...only synced a handfull of contacts, etc...).

The iPhone syncs the entire contact list (designating Mobile and Work numbers as well) and is otherwise flawlessly operating. I imagine this will probably go for most iDrive equipped BMW's with Bluetooth.

2004 Prius - works great

Didn't even have to consult the manual. I had been thinking I'd have to set aside some time to figure out how to pair them up. On a lark, I just tried it and it turned out great. Much easier than with my Treo 650. Have to say that the car "finds" the iPhone much more quickly than with the Treo. Loving it.

It connects on 2007 Audi A6 with MMI as well.

Was surprised that it worked much better than my Nokia E62 (and later E61i). The Nokia phones would only connect and act as a hands free set.

The iPhone lets me see my Dialed number (on the phone, not the car), The strength of the GSM signal and other neat things. It does not let me browse my phonebook. It will let me see the SIM card numbers which are coded by ATT/Apple and I have not figured out how to back up my contacts to the SIM.

Works with my '07 G35 Sedan. But can't get the contacts to download from the phone to the car.

2007 BMW 530i works for both calls and the address book

iPhone is compatible with all current BMW models that have Bluetooth. From the BMW USA home page:

Does anyone know if voicemail plays over bluetooth in a car? I have a Toyota Tundra with the E7009 bluetooth navigation system (thats the model no. on the faceplate). I just need to see if the iphone can sync contacts, work with the call/end buttons, and let the navigation unit display the battery life/signal strength. Anyone? It seems like apple really screwed up on the bluetooth, hopefully they will be smart and improve options in an update.

I might be doing something wrong BUT DOES NOT WORK with my '07 Acura TL Type S. I think it might be on the car end though. Anyone?????
