Hi there,
New to this forum but I hope that someone would have some helpful advice for me. I have a 32g Itouch that I got when they first came out around Valentines this year....I hadn't any previous problems with it. Last night while using it it froze no keys worked. I simultaneously hit the home key and the power key....then I ended up with a white screen. IT is now a dull grey but I am unable to do anything. Has anyone had this happen? Were you able to fix it?
THanks!!

Tapping power and home at the same time causes the screen to flash white and take a screenshot. You have to hold them both for about 6 seconds.

reset the ipod by holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 15 seconds or until you see the silver apple

Thanks....
yes I held the keys for what seemed like forever....no screen shot...this was a dull non responsive machine :(
I plugged it in and my comp told me there was an upgrade...I crossed my fingers and tried it and miraculously it worked. :)
