Better to have too much space than too little. If you can afford the $100 difference there is no reason not to go to the 64GB capacity.

I have no songs in my iPad at all, yet I used 40 GB out of my 57 GB iPad 3. Of course, if my iPad is the 32 GB version, then I'll just put less stuff on it.

For my iPad 1 i got a 32gb wifi and didn't have too many issues with space, but i never used music on it even before match (thats what my iPhone is for).

recently ordered a new iPad and opted for 64gb model. I did this for two reasons. First, the extra space that those retina apps take up and second, I'm planning on using my iPad as a backup storage to transfer photos to while on location instead of bringing a laptop. Raw editing is kinda cool too.

32G vs 64G iPad

With iTunes Match, I can leave off my music library from the iPad. Photos are captures via photo stram. I just need enough room for video and apps. Is there something I'm missing here. I'm deciding between these two it seems like the 32GB is the smarter choice. What am i leaving off?

I always go for the most space. Amazingly enough, at both Best Buy and the Apple Store, the salesperson will talk himself/herself blue in the face trying to talk you out of a 64 GB. The guy at Best Buy was so in my face about it even after I assured him I knew exactly what I wanted and why, that I almost bought elsewhere! They just have too good a return policy and no restocking fee! Still, I actually had to tell him I was the customer, and to please leave me alone!

My iPad 1 had only 16GB storage, and I ran out of room quickly. I don't put my music library on my iPads, so I went with the 32GB this time. I have 60 apps and roughly 1200 photos on it and still have 14GB free. I guess I would have gotten the 64 if I listend to music on it.
