Hi,

I just read through all of those threads about overclocking the 330m in 2010 MBPs and I decided, since its actually downclocked by Apple from 575/1265 to 500/1100 to give it a shot.

Everything went surprisngly well, I just installed the nvidia tools, didnt even have to change drivers for a modified ones and its good, about 3-4 FPS gain in Crysis 2.

I just have couple of questions:

Can Apple or anyone else anyhow tell that it has ever been overclocked ?

Is this long-term safe ?I mean I dont plan to get over the values 575/1265. I just wanna know if the GPU will somehow suffer of it, in well cooled room, 76 degrees max.

Thanks

You should not have any major problems. It will give off more heat so make sure your monitoring that.

Apple wont be able to find out if you change it to stock.
