I have my iPhone 3G listed on Craigslist for $350 negotiable. It's been up for over an hour, and I still have no replies. It's almost 8 o'clock here, and I thought this would be a prime time for selling these. I have a bunch of pics, and it's unlocked and jailbroken. It is in absolutely PERFECT condition, to be short. I had an invisible protector on it all the time, and there's no scratches, even on the bezel or Apple logo.

Should I reduce my price, or am I just too impatient? I really want to sell it by tomorrow before the iPhone 4 hits the shelves.

less people want a 3G when you can buy a 3GS or 4. and only an hour? lol give it some time. Patience is a virtue.

Edit: i would lower the price to something smaller than whatever the price on Ebay is. Check ending soonest for your model and use that figure as a estimate.

Is the phone in perfect condition, a 16gb model, white, and unlocked/jailbroken? If so, that's probably STILL a high price. I sold mine for 200, with a crack down the back of it from the shoddy plastic, otherwise in great shape. I'd say 250, 275 if you're lucky, for the phone. Just some advice from someone who sold his phone a week ago :D

Sounds like too much to me.

I made an agreement to sell my 32gb 3GS for $425, and that was before the glut of iPhones in the last week. Now they're going for down in the 300s. 3Gs are understandably even lower.

It's black.
You are impatient and asking too much for an 8GB 3G model.
Try $200-250 and you might get some responses.
It's a 16GB

Looks like I'll be lowering my price by tomorrow :(

$200

Sold my 8GB 3G, very good condition, original box and everything, for $200 on ebay a few weeks ago. I think they are going for less now. $350, especially if it is a 8GB, is way too much.

$350 for an iPhone 3G? Is it plated with gold? My friend just bought an iPhone 3GS 16GB 9.8/10 condition for $250.

Lol, I've had my iPhone 3GS on craigslist and kijiji for 10 days now. Still not sold. :( Lots of people interested but I never heard back from half of them and the other half wanted to trade for a blackberry:eek: or offered too little money.

I've been offered $400 and I countered with $450 and an waiting for a reply.

I had someone willing to buy it for $500 but never heard back. I just emailed them earlier and hope to hear back.

I needz teh moneyz to buy teh iPhone 4. :D

I was going to tell you to lower your price too, but I see your a furriner. ;)

Im asking $400 for a 16gb 3GS with iOS4 Jailbroken and Unlocked. its in pretty good condition. Also comes with usb cable, power adaptor, and original box. is that too much to ask?

Sold my White 32GB iPhone 3GS Unlocked and Jailbroken on iOS4 GM for $450 (which was the asking price) in 2 hours on craigslist. Sold my 16GB Black iPhone 3G Unlocked and Jailbroken for $275 (Asking price was 300) within 4 days on Craigslist.

Sold them both last week. Both came with box's, all accessories, a case, and were in perfect condition, so take that for what it's worth

Ya obviously I'm asking too much. I want to get as much as I can for it, less money I have to pay myself.

Btw, was that an insult or..... I've never seen that word in my life. :D

Sheesh, I can't get any bites on a 16GB 3G with all packaging and a dock @ 200, let alone some of the outrageous offers!

I think that window of selling a 3G for any kind of real value is about to close.

I thought I was going to be able to pull some good money on the 3GS 32GB in excellent condition. It was sold on Ebay a day ago for $320. You might want to lower that phone price.

You can get a 3GS for $350. The 3G will go bye bye next year as far as the next big update and i wouldnt even buy one.

EDIT..Hec looks like you can get a 3GS even cheaper. Ill keep my 2G as a first gen marvel ;) and just have to buy a 4G somehow.
$700 on ebay canada factory unlocked. Kinda steep though.
