Hi guys.

I want to make a Podcast where I can speak and play sound effects and music at the same time.

Much like radio (i.e. The Howard Stern Show, Opie and Anthony etc.)

I use GarageBand to record.

Is there a way to record whatever I hear coming out of my speakers?

Thanks for the time,
Jenny ;)

Hi guys!

Does anyone use anything else other than Audio Hijack?

Thanks!
Jenny ;)

Uh, if you're making a PODCAST, which means you're recording it ahead of time and it isn't live, why not just record what you have to say, then add sound effects and whatnot? Maybe even record the parts you want to say in pieces, rather than all in one take. Then you can move things around, add sound effects and stingers, all within GarageBand's podcast studio, no "recording what you hear" nonsense required.

Hi guys.

I got Audio Hijack and it is exactly what I'm looking for - Recording what you hear. It's even better than I thought.

Thanks guys!
Jenny :D
