It is also possible it could just be chrome finish coloured in Photoshop.The reflection/specularity would be a bit different if that was the case though.


I would not be surpised if there are some gold Ipods and Mbps etc floating around for filthy rich clients.

It's only plating, I doubt it'd weigh noticeably more than normal.

Gold is the ultimate heat dissipator. They line the engine compartment of the McLaren F1 car with sheets of gold. It's kind of funny since many people complain about their MBP's running too hot

... personally if he wanted shiny i think it would look better as just pollished aluminum... although no way i would try to polish mine, sooo thin would prolly get hot and warp on the buffer....
