HUGE pet peeve

Ok guys this is driving me crazy...
1-i take a picture with my iphone
2-i put my phone in the dock
3-iPhoto pops up and imports the photo.
4-If i choose to keep the picture on the phone, every time i put my phone in the dock, iPhoto pops up ready to import again even though i haven't taken any new pictures.

THIS IS SO ANNOYING!! MAKE IT STOP

In iPhoto under preferences and the general tab you can change the setting to open no application when the iPhone or camera is connected.
