This is the first vote for the iPhone Feedback Initiative: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/366092/

The turn out of suggestions was low (hey less work for me!) but still some quality ones. All suggestions are in the poll. Please vote for the ones you want to see most!

This will be an ongoing event, possibly monthly. For those not up on the details, the vote will go until 10:10pm CST on Monday the 15th. I will then take the top five and compile a letter that everyone can submit through the iPhone feedback letter. My hope is that with a standardized, organized and concise letter sent by many people we can see some of the things we want. Who knows if it will work! But at least we can talk about it and have some fun.

So, get your votes in!!!! :apple:

Please select only 5 from the list!!!!

Let's keep this up! Any suggestions added here will go on into the next voting list. Get your votes in!

Only select one.. aw come on :)

You know what's really annoying is my gmail account linked to the iPhone. for some reason i turned off curent mode, then turned it back on, and received like 210 e-mails and had to delete them separately.

I like the idea of To-Do lists though.

You can actually select 5! ;)

OOh this is such a great idea! I hope apple is listening in on threads like these.

I checked off 6  . I couldn't help myself :( ...you have at least 6 very important things for me on your list.

I think the following should be added or included in the next poll:
• Notes that sync with notes on PC/Mac
• Searchable contacts

yeah, whoops, i voted for all the features i wanted, not just the top 5...I don't see a way to change or review my vote now, but it was around 10 or so.

Oops! Voted for well more than 5. Oh well.

I'd bet Apple does visit these forums.

I had a live example of that - but not with Apple. I was in a Lotus Elise forum trying to figure out whether to wait for my dealer to get me a car, but wait many months, or to go with another dealer that I didn't like so much that had the car in stock. My dealer called me a few days later and said that Lotus had read my posting and got my dealer a car for me a few days later. Fast forward to a few months later where I was invited to a Lotus market research dinner. It turns out that the guy that took care of me was there. He explained that they always look at the forums, but they're not allowed to post messages/replies. I'd bet that someone at Apple has a similar responsibility. Lotus is a tiny company - especially when compared to Apple.

well of course they do! how do you think apple legal sends out all the cease and desist orders whenever MacRumors actually gets a rumor right??? im sure somewhere in the group at apple someone trolls the forums in an atempt to get free/cheap market research. but im sure they also take the comments with a grain of salt due to the fact that the views represented in these forums can often be those of crazy-apple-fan-boys (no offense, i probably fit in this category) and dont always represent the views of the 'entire' market apple is selling to.

but i didnt see anything about apple integrating GPS into google maps. how cool would it be to set a little bluetooth GPS dongle in the dash of your car (or stash said dongle in your bag as you walk down the street) then get to see exactly where you are on the directions you just looked up on google maps on the iPhone??? so i would like that!! (did you get that down apple? a comment from a crazy-apple-fan-boy????)

My 10 cents on what should have been there from day 1

Email functionality should have everthing that iMail has, simple

SMS, cut and paste, attachments.

Safari, this is a no brainer, multiple settings, like I click one thing and history cookies, and cache are GONE. Home page definition.

System, arrangement and deletion of applications I dont want, let me arrange the icons NOT YOU.

I paid 400 dollars, its MINE, NOT YOURS its mine, if I want to hack an unlock its mine, if you choose not to support me afterwards than I broke the rules and I will have to suffice. YOU do not own the iphone after I pay, service for calls and data are AT&T NOT apple.

Look at it this way Apple, either do the write thing and listen to the consumer or meet them halfway or the last 5 years of development and testing along with the future is going to be not what you expected. I hope I am wrong, personally I like the device.

BUT YOU HAVE allot of room for improvement, could some one fix the RF, its ridiculous and its NOT at&t's network.
