mail cannot delete my aol mail?

hi I'm using leopard and I cannot delete my mail from my aol account I tried deleting mail from my gmail and it was fine but every time I try to delete my aol mail I get this message:

Yes, I'm having the same problem. ...Clearly a bug that got through (which can be expected).

I have yet to find a workaround.

My mom is having the same EXACT problem with this - it started happening right before we got Leopard. (Intel Imac CD 20" with Leopard.) I've been unable to resolve it as well.

Should one of you find a solution to this, please PM me.

To resolve this problem:

Go to Mail.app > Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox behaviors, and uncheck "Move deleted messages to the Trash mailbox."
