I saw so many people asking about so I thought I should post the method in which how to do it on another site. I dont have Leopard right now, so I dont know if it works, but here it is.

open Terminal and type the following command:

$ defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES; killall Dock

hope this works for you all, cause I wont be using the 3d dock once I get my UTD Leopard install in a few days.

This replaces the 3d dock with the 2d dock that appears when you put the dock on the side.

You say that now. It actually doesn't look all that bad once you're using it on your system. I like it because it's not nearly as pronounced as it is in the screenshots.

I hope your right, but the 2d dock looks more appealing to me. But guess I have to wait to see.
