Currently I am running 10.4 and love it!
I use cleardock which has given me the ability to remove the gray bar behind the dock in Tiger. I think the flat clear dock looks awesome. Based on the photos of Leopard the new dimensional Dock just looks distracting, especially for someone with a Macbook that might typically hide the dock for more screen space.
I also have certain folders in the dock that I use regularly to access documents and files quicker. I am able to right click or ctrl click to gain quick and organized access to these. Based on what many are saying Stacks does not compare.
I completely agree with those who have mentioned how bad the Menu bar looks when another window is open against it!
And Finally- I can see where people are coming from regarding the folder icon- it doesnt look good.
So while these make it very diffulcult for me to switch my major concern isnt necessarily these issues. It's the fact that apple doesnt add options- Leopard should have even more options! Why did I need to get the clear dock app in Tiger- why does Leopard seem to have just as little options. I dont think you should get rid of something completely that worked. Make the changes but keep the options!
Thats my take- but heres my main question for those who have already updated- is the rest of what Leopard offers worth the setback in some of these other areas- or should I wait until I am sure there is a way around these things?
