Nice

Wow. That's skill right there. Seriously.

It's easy enough to make different colored Dock using the original dock .PNG files and a copy of iPhoto (tint and temperature adjustments). But this is real nice work.:)

What programs were used to make this rainbow? Gimp? Photoshop? Anyone know?

This is cool!!

Very nice.

Awesome. Just one thing - it appears that the frontline.png is still white, so you get that white edge down the front.

It really needs a matching rainbow frontline.

Anyone up for a challenge? Is the rainbow dock creator a member here?

nice find!

I have leopard, but I'm not using it right now - everything works in Tiger and I have work to do. When I have a lull, I'll migrate to the new OS - but I'll also modify this with a different scheme. I'll post it when I finally do it.

Now can someone do the same thing with the menu bar? Is it possible ?

You'd need to make a spectrum of the right size and paste it across the top of your desktop picture I think. There are a couple of free apps around to alter the appearance of the menu bar but I think they just put a flat opaque colour underneath it.

A rainbow dock and a rainbow menu bar would be pretty trippy!

Sorry I don't remember who made the original rainbow so I don't know what program was used to make it.

And frontline it more transparent for me than it is white.
