Okay, I was told tonight that I'm getting a E250 ($380) Apple gift token as a very lovely thank you for some work I did for my sister-in-law recently (I refused payment, but she obviously heard of my Apple obsession ).

I have my iMac, MacBook, iPod Touch and Apple TV and all the software I think I need/want.....so what do you recommend? What toy should I add to my collection? Or should I be sensible and tuck it away until I actually need something? (Even though it will burn a hole in my pocket).

Do you have .mac? It could be useful with 10.5 and Back to My Mac, as you have more than one Apple computer.

Jeez, great idea, never thought of it. Considered signing up for .mac before but I was too broke, definitely worth thinking about now. Thanks so much.

bose sound dock.

although i do have a dot mac account and refuse to live without it. be prepared to renew next year if you get it.

.mac is awesome. 10G of online storage for anything you want. Now you can sync you iMac to your Macbook and have all your stuff on the go. Take advantage of back-to-my-mac and have an ad-free place to store your iWeb sites, and web galleries. I'm a big fan of .mac and use all it's features.

What about a Time Capsule? Any use for one? Old or new iMac? Maybe pickup that new keyboard or a wireless Mighty Mouse? iTunes gift cards? Maybe a cool laptop case your your MacBook?

Is Time Capsule available to you over there?

EDIT - yes it is. a 500GB Capsule and .Mac would burn up that gift card and a wee bit more.

I would put it towards a new Mac Mini to use as a media center with the phenomenal OSXBMC. :D

I'm gunna be the odd man out here and recommend that you hold onto it. It seems like you're set on cool apple stuff for the moment. You'll really appreciate $380 off your next computer or the next cool gadget that apple rolls out *cough*touchscreentabletmac*cough*. :D

At least, that's what i'd do, but go ahead and splurge if you want. :)

how about time capsule?

i'd go either .mac or time capsule

you cant really go wrong with either one. both have great features, although i would get time capsule cuz i already have .mac

I think you should add a poll to this post. I would get a time capsule if you don't have backup right now as they can back up both your computers.

AppleTV. Why? I don't know. ;)

The OP already has an Apple TV. ;)

OP, what accessories do you have? Do you need a new keyboard/mouse? Display? External storage? Printer?

250 Euros can go far in smaller purchases that might make your everyday computing easier.

If you have everything you need, just save it. I assume the card has no expiration date (or a very long one at the least) so you can keep it for when you need to replace something important.

Oh jeez, so many brilliant suggestions my head hurts :(

Okay, I've added a poll.....go for it, whatever you the people decide will be good enough for me. :)

If you are using a mighty mouse then you seriously dont know what youre missing. Definitely get the larger MX Revolution, its one of those things that are just so expensive and luxurious that its hard to buy one for yourself unless its a gift.

With the left over money get a nice pair of headphones.
