Hey guys.
Well, I bought a domian name, but im having issues using it.
Where on goDaddy can I find the (CNAME) area?
I'm at stop 2 on www.mac.com

It says
"
Add Personal Domain (2 of 2)

Before your iWeb site can be viewed at your personal domain, you must complete the following steps:
1. Go to your registrar's website. Define web.mac.com as the "www" CNAME (alias) for your domain.
If you need help creating a CNAME, contact your registrar.
2. Return to this page and click Continue.
Your registrar can take up to 48 hours to update your domain."

Help? Thanks!

Josh

Login to Godaddy and go to total DNS control panel for your domain and select Cname host www and change @ to web.mac.com.

So, what do I put in this field?
"Enter an Alias Name:"
AND
"Points To Host Name:"

I understood you put the web.mac and such at the points, but what about alias?

Okay, so it worked - Thanks Seattle.
Now when I type (my domain name) it brings it up, but the URL goes back to the .Mac's iWeb original site. The URL does not stay to (my domain name) Is that normal? It doesn't bug me if that's normal.

Thanks.

That is normal. Your domain is redirected to .mac.

Choose your domain under Domains on Godadddy.

Then choose: Total DNS Control and MX Records.

Type in web.mac.com on both www and the one under (Your domain instead of mannsoker.net) and you should see something like this:

godaddy_CNAME_ferdig.jpg

godaddy_CNAME_www.jpg

This should help you.
