I just ordered my 38mm SS Milanese on 5/4. I'm so excited to get it!

If you got the 38mm SS Milanese around this time, post here when it ships along with the day you bought it.

Update: My delivery date is June 5-18

Hope you like it more than I did. I returned mine.

That's fantastic!

That's a 2.5 week turnaround from order to ready to ship, which I hope bodes well for my 38 SS ML, ordered 4/27 (5/29-6/11 window), in California.

What country are you in?

That's too bad you had a poor experience. I've owned ss watches as well as mesh bands so hopefully your issues weren't too out of the ordinary.

Awesome! My delivery date is June 5-18. Hopefully it gets bumped up as well.

I would agree with you except that another Macrumor's member had the same exact experience as me and is also returning his ML band.

I just got an email from Apple with an update shipping window.
It was 4-6 weeks: June 5-18, it is now 3-4 weeks: June 2-9.

Mine got delivered today... and so far--- I LOVE it!!! Extremely comfortable, love the magnetic clasp.

Here's a pic- I have child like hands- I can't even imagine the 42 mm on me !

I printed out my return label yesterday, Armen.

I haven't mailed it yet. Did you already get your refund for it?

My SS WSB came yesterday. Comfy. Less expensive. :)

Don't know what's up with my order. Called Apple Support and they're no more useful than the repeating what's on the website's order status page.

I placed an order for a 42mm SS Milanese much earlier on 4/22 and I'm just in a vague "June" window.

I ordered this variant on 4/27, I will be receiving it today, 5/8.

Less than 2 weeks, from order date! I had a 4-6 week wait, with a delivery estimate of 5/29-6/11. I was not notified of going to 'preparing for shipment', I'm just OCD/ADD :p

Apple is faster than I thought :)

California, btw.

I haven't received the Sport band replacement yet bunny. Once that arrives (looks like May 22) I'm going to print my ML return label and take it to an Apple store for them to ship it back.

That's smart. Mine is easier since I'd ordered 2 watches for my son's birthday, and one of them was a SS WSB. I just have to return my entire watch.

I do want a less casual band, but without them selling the Modern Buckle right now, I'll just have to borrow my son's classic or something if I require something nicer than a sport band. Which should be only occasionally.

Maybe a good 3rd party band will appear. Who knows?

I really like the WSB. I think the extra one I ordered is due about the same time as the one you ordered for the band swap. My son already asked if he could have it. LOL.

I wouldn't be surprised to see brand name bands for the watch later this year considering Apple is providing band guidelines to vendors.

Imagine this Burberry band on an Apple watch (would look on the SG in my opinion or the SS model)
