Hey guys,

i have an iphone 4
running ios 5

I deleted cydia using cydelete as i thought this would unjailbreak it, but it didnt. So i went on itunes to restore it but when i clicked restore, i had to update it to ios 5.0.1 too.I dint want that as i want to jailbreak it again. So i tried doing a hard reset from my device: 'reset all settings and erase all content" I left it for 11 hours but it would finnish. When i shift + restore and then choose ios 5 restore it gives me error 3914.

Also rejailbraiking it is not possible, it says error.

what should i do, i want to keep ios 5, and i want cydia back, please help

tnx yosin

First mistake: You didn't research before attempting to unJB.
Second mistake: Delete Cydia
Third mistake: You didn't research how to downgrade firmware
Forth mistake: Rest all settings and erase all content is a stupid way to do it

Correct answer: You shouldn't be JBing.

I'm sorry but you're getting that error because you can't go back to iOS 5.0.

Also, when you reset all setting and erase all content on a jailbroken device, you get 'stuck'. You're only option now is to restore to the current firmware which is 5.0.1.
