3d architect program for stairs.

I'm after a very cheap programme to create 3d modelling program for me to make 3d models of staircases to show potential clients that I provide quotes for.
A little off topic but I do have illustrator cs2 all adobe software I think these are no good. I want to be able to create models fairly quickly. I want to be able to enter info by measurements (as measurements are important).

you could try the free version of CoCreate Modeller. It only runs on Windows though, but it is really easy to make 3D models. The free edition doesn't include a renderer.
