3D map view gone in Maps

I've noticed recently the 3D view in Maps has stopped working and just shows the 2D map at an angle with no buildings in satellite view. This is a handy feature which I use every now and again, mainly around the London area.

This happened to anyone else or know why this may be happening? I'm using a 2018 MacBook Air and this was working up until a few weeks ago.

I’ve not been using maps much recently—for obvious reasons!—but just tried a few central london locations on my early 2015 MBP running 10.15.1 and 3D is working as normal for me.

Thanks for the reply, turned out to be a weird bug and is all working now
