I have a macbook pro and i am trying to play a 3d SBS mkv file from my comp to my 3d tv using VLC. I select SBS on my tv and play the file. The two images seem to overlap too much and it creates an image that while 3D is not watchable. I have closed my computer so that my tv is receiving full 1080p image and this helped some. My best guess is that i need to tweak the display settings but i am unsure of the best way to do this. Someone please help!

Having never tried to do this I'm not sure, are you set up for mirroring or extended display on your computer?
