3D Playback via iPad

Hi,

I have an iPad 2 and I am looking to connect it to my TV to play 3D content.

Providing I have the right side by side video files on my iPad and the right connectors (either Apple TV or a HDMI connector) and a 3D capable TV I don't see a problem but I was wondering if anybody else has any experience in doing this.

Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.
