Since I raised THIS thread, I'm still wondering if anyone has produced Apple logos or similar using a 3D printer - especially as prices have dropped and these printers are far less expensive than when first launched.
I've been unable to produce a compatible and really acceptable Apple logo and leaf using other methods.
Ideally I'd also like to know how feasable it is for someone to 3D produce the iBook Clamshell optical drive bezel.

I'm sure there would be a market for these in typical Clamshell colours - graphite, tangerine, blueberry and lime. I could supply a drive bezel to serve as a model template if anyone was interested.
As @RhianB mentioned in a post, even if anyone could engineer the Apple and leaf mold via 3D printer, that would be a positive step forward.
I'm in no hurry to sell but I'd really like to get my Lime Clamshell complete prior to offering it here in the 'Marketplace'.
