this is very cool, they are actually in the testing phase of doing this with organs yes i said organs!. they are using cartridges filled with cells (i think stem cells) to print in 3D and manufacture organs. its a first step towards what we see in si-fi shows, it ill take a while till we can replicate matter using particles or reconfiguring other materials in that way but a first step to show proof of concept i guess.

The concept of what this can do with different materials is amazing. Or imagine using multiple materials. This could spell the end of the manufacturing industry as we know it.
