I'm curious to see what other people would like to see when 3D Touching an app icon. Here's the options I want:

Phone: straight to dialer option, and a redial option
Messages: any options at all! 3 contacts show randomly, and aren't most recent. Favoriting would be a big improvement.
Clock: Turn on a specific alarm
Weather: a forecast of sorts would be nice
Calendar: showing the next event
Reminders: go-to a specific list
Settings: anything would be an improvement
Music: play a playlist
Podcast: set favorites
Netflix: resume a show

I like all of your suggestions; however
Calendar: showing the next event
In my experience it does this already.

Here are a few of mine:

Remote: Select a device and go straight to the controls for it (e.g. Living Room or Bedroom)
App Store: Option to go straight to Updates.
iCloud Drive: List top three most recently updated folders.

Oh wow! ZombiePete coming through fixing problems!

I guess I only tried it after my day ended. Just tested this and it does exactly what I wanted.

The App Store update option would be a major improvement.

I really can't wait to see what we will be able to do in the future. I already feel natural 3D Touching everything.

The other thing I want, and this is just being nit picky, is Apple to change the name back to force touch. I have to correct myself every damn time I say it wrong.

Alarm.com: Disarm and Arm option via 3D Touch.

I looked up that website only to realize it was a typo. I thought you had stumbled on an alarm app gold mine.

Settings: A wifi toggle would be nice
Messages: A "peek" into the most recent message

I also really wish that when you "peek" into your messages it would remove the notification. It defeats the purpose of peek IMO since I still have to enter the message to get the notification to clear.

Doesn't the Control Center already have a wifi toggle? Or are you referring to something else?

If I were going to put a 3D Touch menu in settings, I would have shortcuts to common functions (not already managed in Control Center, personally) like the Battery and Notification settings screens.
