3D Touch clicking

I just received my SIM free 6s Plus today, and while I was trying out the 3D Touch, I get this clicking sensation towards the bottom 3rd of the phone. When I force touch an app that is 3D capable, I get a one click sensation, two quick clicks when I force touch an app that isnt 3D capable. Is this normal?
