iPhone XS Max 3D Touch pop issue

When I 3D Touch on the very top left icon on my home screen the speaker or Taptic Engine (can’t tell which) makes a small secondary pop too.

This only happens on the odd occasion, but I’m really confused if it’s a hardware issue (screen problem) or a software bug.

If I keep repeating the 3D Touch after the initial pop it does not happen again.

Anyone else seeing this?
