3D Touch scrubbing in Videos possible?

Is it possible to scrub thru a video when I touch with a small amount of force on the screen and move your finger to the right and left?

If not, this would be a great feature in on of the next releases of iOS.

That would be pretty awesome. Wouldn't need to use the scrub bar if that's the case. Haven't seen it in any videos that I remember though.

I do not know if you have to actually press the progress bar, but I am pretty sure they demo'd this feature during the keynote.

edit: It may have been the ATV I am thinking of.

Yes the had demoed it on the new ATV4. But they didn't announced that scrubbing feature with 3D Touch. If it's not implenented in iOS9 I think there is a good chance we see this feature in one of the next minor releases.
