The common PC containing an 8800 gets 11600 as a score. My Mac Pro which has 8 cores of Xeon 2.8 GHZ power, 2 GB RAM, 500 GB HD, WinXP got a score of 13438 on 3DMark 06!!! That's 1838 over the score of an average gamer's PC. Not only does this prove that Macs can be gaming computers but that they even beat PC's! I love Apple!!!:):apple::)

How's that 3Dmark game play?

Yeah, it doesn't. That's why no site uses it as a real benchmark. It's not real world gameplay. It's a POS app that sucks.

I think the higher score is mainly due to the CPU-test, wich should way higher than on the PC, for the more game related parts of the benchmark the score could even be lower than on the pc but still produce a higher overall score...

I bet the PC went for half price?

Mac Pro is way too expensive right now.

Just look at this comp. In my country it costs 1500$
