I'm looking at getting an Air and I was just wondering if anyone has used 3ds Max with it. I mainly do writing, e-mails and web browsing on my laptop, as I have a much more powerful desktop for doing any intensive work. But the one thing I do need the laptop for is to be be able to show clients the model I have made. I can't just do images, as I need to be able to rotate around the model and take it apart by layers as we go through it, but it only needs to be able to run the viewport at a reasonable speed - it doesn't need to be doing any renders at all.

I haven't been able to find any software that would work in OSX to display the models properly, so unfortunately that is out too.

Anyone have any experience that would be able to help? I'd prefer to get a MBA to a MBP, but this is a big influence on the decision.
