3G 3.0 sounds change tone/pitch randomly

3G 3.0OS -- at random times, the sounds will sound strange, almost "like a tin can". the lock/unlock sounds are higher pitch and sound strange. Even other system sounds get the same wacky sound until I either reboot the phone, or play a song in the iPod app. anyone run into this yet?

Same thing happened to me. They replaced it.

I'd hate to get another replacement. I'm tired of getting new phones. I just want to keep mine and have it working.
