3G/4G iPad Mini plans

I am thinking to buy the LTE-enabled iPad Mini in the next years, and I want to use this as a phone with text-messaging. I already have a Text-Plus phone number. I don't use phone and text a lot, but does it seems to you 10MB per month of LTE is enough for calling, texting and stuff like that? Or do you think I should take a bigger-capacity for like 100MB or 1GB? (I live in Canada)

10mb is very little. Especially if this is going to be your primary device. Will you be using any internet or just calling/texting? I say at least 1gb.
