I have a UK O2 3G PAYG model running 2.02. It has recently fallen foul of the 'Error Sending Message' issue that appears to affect many 2.02 devices.
I had originally thought this was caused by the Yellowsn0w unlock but now know different as it is affecting many with standard un-modified phones. One of the suggested causes is a corrupt Baseband update as part of the 2.02 upgrade. So my question is can I force a re-install of the Baseband as a standard restore doesn't re-write the Baseband.
Failing that I'll just have to wait for 2.03 as Apple don't seem to think this issue a priority despite it affecting a large number of users world-wide
