3g battery

do you think the iPhone will get a better battery with the 3g or do you think the battery will be the same as the 1st gen battery

The rumors say the next version might be slightly thicker. My bet is that this would come from a thicker battery. Probably Apple's attempt to at least maintain the current battery life with a power-hungry 3G chip.

Before the 1st version iPhone came out people were freaking out about the battery which for me is fine.

I suspect the battery on the next iPhone will be less than other phones on the market but far from bad.
