3G Coming to dutchess county?

This is probably unknown, but does anybody know when 3G will come to Dutchess County in NY? I've had my iPhone 3G since September... and at this point I'm getting quite fed up having to pay for the data plan, when the Edge network is pretty much useless. There was a rumor I read online about the date for 3G service to be December 14th... but that clearly hasn't happened... I'm wondering if they'll even keep to their 2008 expansion that I implied as a promise to have 3G up in the area by year's end...

Often. I'm in Orange County and we got nada.

I heard a rumor from an AT&T employee that we were getting role out in dec, but i doubt it. Those guys have no clue and are probably told to make up some crap so people will get a 3G.

I'm sticking with my first gen phone until an official role out. Like ya said it's a waste of money and useless.
