3G Cracking Issue????

Has apple addressed the cracking case issues of the 3g iphone yet because i dont want to buy one if its going to crack for no reason

They haven't fixed it officially but out of the couple dozen people that I know that own an iPhone none of us have had this issue....I also haven't heard a lot about it recently so maybe it was just a few people with an issue...I'm not positive tho of the final conclusion

How long have you guys had your iphones? and do you use any sort of protective case?

I've had mine since they came out....here in lansing I didn't have to wait in too long of a line....I use a case...some of the people that I know don't tho....I would have to say that more people use them then don't use them (out of the people I know)
