I'm currently using AT&T's Go Phone/Pick Your Plan service with my existing iPhone. I have the unlimited MediaNET package that i'm currently enjoying, BUT, with the many rumors of a 3G iPhone, I wondered about using the high speed UMTS data with a pre-paid package. The 3G/UMTS data isn't advertised with the flaming "3G" symbol on Pick your Plan phones like they are with phones available with a 2 year agreement.

I did a bit of research and if you take a look at the Nokia N75 on AT&T's wireless site. If you're looking to get a 2 year contract with your phone, you'll notice it bears the flaming 3G symbol we all know and love. On the Go-Phone side? No flames, BUT, if you read the description..."High speed data access over UMTS network".

So for those who were worried (like myself) there's no need to sweat! If an iPhone has 3G, i would HOPE it will be available as a pre-paid option again. :)
