When I enable 3g, my phone goes from having full service to nothing. Anyone else?? I turn off 3g to save battery life when i don't need it.

3g enabled no service

Do mean that it has a single little sliver, or does it say "No Service"? There is a problem, where even with the slightest 3G signal, the phone does not fail over to EDGE/GSM. Hopefully enough people will complain about that and they will fix it in a new firmware update.
