3G Headphone/Jack Problem

Just got a new 3G about a month ago...love almost everything about it but I am having a headphone problem:

When I plug the stock headphones into my 3G, very casually mind you - like I would for an iPod or cd player, I get no sound. Only when I push with a little more force, as well as sometimes twist the headphone around within the jack, do I get sound...and as soon as I let go with my hand I lose the sound. I'm not sure if I am doing anything wrong or if I just have a piece of faulty equipment. Any ideas?

That seems to be normal...... all new hardware are 'tight' at first! Give it some time.... meet a Genius in another month if its still there but I doubt its any problem at all, most likely the new Hardware thing (the jack has clips which are very tight, obviously, at first but ease out later)!

Please forgive my post's atrocious resemblance to a biological process...
