3g ingrared sensors are freaking out

If I making a phone call the phone dropps calls when sensor (infrared sensor next to is touched. I can only make a call on speaker phone. Once You bring the phone to you're ear then it hangs up. When I'm in my phone working and I touch the sensor then the phone is getting locked when I touch the sensor.
