Hi everyone,

On my way to Orlando, Florida in a few months and was hoping to pick up a 3G iPad 2 on my travels. Quick question for those who know, if I do buy one in the States, is it unlocked? Will I be able to put a Three SIM from a UK carrier in it and it function correctly?

Thanks all.

Yup, it is unlocked. I bought one from the U.S. as well and am using it with my Vodafone SIM.

Yep, got a iPad 2 3G shipped from the states before the Uk launch. Working brilliantly with my three SIM (is a normal three SIM chopped down to micro sim size)

Just make sure you get the AT&T 3G version! It obviously won't work with the Verizon version.
