Definitely a front face cam due to the wide space in the plastic cover in the upper area.

if I'd produce a case that shows a huge hole for de back-camera, would you be sure that apple will feature a 5mp cam?

the trench doesn't say anything for sure..
 
I did a quick photoshop analysis of the 3D renders dimensions compared to that of the 1G iPhone and came up with the following:

Using the side profile picture from apples website and the profile of this 3D render i set the height dimensions equal to one another at 115mm. If the new iPhone has a different height measurement this data would be incorrect. But lets say the height measurement does stay the same. In this case the current iPhone has a thickness of 11.6mm (which is in-fact the real thickness of the current iPhone) and with quick use of the measurement tool one can determine the thickness of the new iPhone at between 12mm-12.5mm which i would consider (slightly thicker).

So ill say it here first. If i had to guess the new iPhone will be between 12-12.5mm thick.
