White... just like my Mighty Mouse, my keyboard.... reminds me of the original iPod and scratches and fingerprints don't show up well on white.

Black with Black Seidio innocase... it's amazing the black iPhone with black seidio matches my black MacBook almost 100%... main reason I went black was because i prefer black mac products... now if only they made the new MacBook aluminum's in a black finish

I chose black because I didn't have a choice. I love black it think it looks more expensive. It doesn't matter what color it is really, because I spend 97% of my time looking at the front side anyways. The color of the back is really for everyone else to look at. I should've just everyone else what color I should bet because they are the ones that have to look at it.

White it was all they had when it was first launched. Apple's color schemes are weird though. My white iPhone is mismatched to my iMac and MBP. As is my white BT keyboard, mighty mouse and power cords. Given the time frame this were bought in it sort of looks like these devices were all thrown together at random.

I really don't care though anyway though and I don't tend to obsess about such things.

White because of the nostalgia with the iPods I've had in years passed. And mine isn't at all dirty (I wash my hands). Now when I let my 5 yr old play games on it in the car.....that's another story.
