OK they wil be launching at 8 am i called my att store and the recording was all about the 3g iphone it said to speed things up they WILL be opening at 8 am you can call for yourself and see 814 868 2355

And I have the same recording in my city 918-270-2002
 
Just made the call myself. Looks like AT&T stores here in Birmingham, AL will be opening early at 8 a.m. They are advising people that are NOT interested in a new iPhone to come in prior to the July 11th launch.

The bummer is that I won't be able to go by until lunch. Grrrr......

Yep, I just posted this in the original 8AM thread and I have heard the message myself as well.
 
Woooohoooo! I just called my local AT&T store and the recording said the same thing. Looks like that's where I'll be first thing in the morning. Although what about the Apple stores?
