3G Iphone

I just bought my Ipone 2 days ago from the ATT store. I changed my SIM to a T-Mobile one and the att SIM that was already in the Iphone had a 3G symbol on it??? Did anyone else have this 3G SIM in the Iphone?

All SIM cards that come with the iPhone have a 3G symbol on it, and some other phones from AT&T as well.

That's just a printed symbol on the SIM card. The phone has to actually have a 3G radio in it to be 3G.

The iPhones shipped with cards like these last year, it's just the standard AT&T SIM.
