3g jailbreak iOS4 time/carrier error?

hey everyone,

so i just upgraded to ios4 on my 3g and jailbreaked it with multitask and wallpaper (it works really well and i find it faster than 3.1.2)

anyways, when ever someone sends me a text, the time sent is always 4 hours earlier

so when i send a text (current time 9:55pm) will say sent time 9:55pm
lets say i recieve a text at 9:56pm, on my phone it will have the time as 5:56pm.

any ideas?

also im on rogers and it says there is a carrier update...which I install, and says complete, but every time i plug it back into itunes it says "carrier update", do you wish to install

any help would be great!
