3G motherboard replacement

I just recently did a complete overhaul on my iPhone 3G, my battery died, so while i was in there i replaced everything. Is it possible to replace my 3G motherboard with a 3GS? Or will the internal terminals/ ribbons not match up?

i should theoretically be possible, but i don't think you can buy an iphone mobo cheap enough for your situation

No, it wont work.
The parts wont match or work between a 3G and a 3GS.
Just by a 3GS or an iphone 4. Dont spend any money or waste your time on trying to frankenstein an iphone 3G

Impossible, there are small little crevices and such within the phone that won't match up with the newer parts. It's just cheaper to buy a new 3GS.
