I was in Las Vegas for the weekend and I would say 90% of the time the 3G data would not work on my iphone. I would have 4 bars and texts/voicemail worked fine, calls too, but if if I tried to do anything online I had to use Edge.
This happened both in and out of casinos on the strip and at the airport- even with several reboots, resets of network settings, etc. Every now and then it would work fine, then go back to not working at all (not just slow, but not working).
I just upgraded (fresh install) the phone (3GS) to 3.0.1 before I left but I can't find anything on this issue. I live in Phoenix and since I'm back it's working fine, but I travel a lot for work (have another trip this week) and I need to know now if this is an issue I need to look into or if it was a random fluke. Anyone know?
